Ok my friend has a car that sit very low to ground. And he wants to know if there is anything you can put on the bottom of his body kit to keep from scratching on the ground (potholes, steep hills, etc.) We live in a rough area and he doesn't want his kit to get all scuffed up. I've seen someone at a local track with something on the bottom of their kit that looked kind of like Black rubber or something. And he said it was to protect it from getting scratched up.

Can anyone tell me what this is and where I can find some? Thanks alot

 

I have never seen anything like that so my guess would be that he probably made it himself.

 

tell him to loose the body kit and stick with oem front ends and he wont have to deal with crack bumper.

 

Well if the body kit was on an integra i would suggest that. but he has an eclipse and wanted to know if i could find out for him because he is having no luck. I was just wondering if there was something out there people were using.

 

but you and your friend should walk around home depot and see if you can find something.

 

buy some sheetmetal, cut it up to appropriate sizes, and bolt that **** to the bottom of the bodykit. Homemade skidplate.
