clutch switch question?
I have a 1990 civic. Will my car not start without the clutch switch in there? If I remove it, do I need to loop the wires that connect to it? Or somehow complete the ground or circut, depending on which it is.
Is this true? this could be why my car isn't working!! I removed the switch months ago and my car ran fine, now it will not start! I have replaced the starter, alternator, entire wiring harness, etc!! if this is the reason...I will fcukng filp!
someone please give an accurate answer to this question..

Yes, your 1990 civic has a clutch-starter inhibitor switch, and if it is removed, the circuit needs to be shorted(looped). Use a jumper, much the same way as retreiving your CELs using the service check connector. This happened to my little brother's 91 DX hatch last month.
