Default Piston ring question

I'm installing rings on my pistons and I had a question for the experienced. Where do you position the ring ends on the top two compression rings. 180 degrees opposite each other? The pistons are Je 84.5mm 11.5 c/r.

You can set them 180 apart, I think that the Helms shows the rings all staggered with none of the open ends along the thrust side of the piston. They will only stay that way for a little bit since the rings rotate in the bore at around 1/100 of the crank speed, once in a blue moon all of the gaps will line up.

I hope that helps, maybe too much info.
