ok i was wondering if someone could school me on upgrading my ecu for my 94 accord lx, is an ecu upgrade going to give me alot more power??? someone explain. thanks

 

the ecu is map out fine, as long as you dont have aggressive mod to your lx motor.

you should be fine with I/H/E or minor bolt on.

you might need to "chip" or "tune" your ecu when you have...turbo, internal works, N2o, vtec swap,etc

what i mean by chip is those add on computer or stand alone computer..
brands like HOndata, AEM EMS, APex'i SAFC/VaFC is the one you looking for.
they let you tune the Map, Air/fuel ratio and all that goodie.

 

one more thing, dont expect your accord to run 12's with a Hondata neither, tuning is the software part, you'll need the hardware part to complete the package(just like a computer huh?)
