Fawk no, I won't pay that much for a CX unless it has good clean modifications.

i think he would could get around 4,000 if he sold it in the paper. if he tries to sell it on an "enthusiast" board or something to people who basically throw away the stock single slammer motor, then he probably wont be able to get as much
I'm just saying, I spent 2 years trying to find me a hatch for the right price, finally got a helluva deal on a CX w/ 138k on it for $2000, what do you know... 2 months after buying it my motor goes kaput. IF you look on Autotrader around Cincinnati you'll find that most highmileage civics will run around 3g's.

just so ya'll know, austin does not have inflated vehicle prices for the most part. this guy is charging waaay over market, regardless of condition.
not flaming at all, the car is clean...but...
"a car is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it."
try to sell it for your price. if it doesnt sell, rethink the price and try again.
Very clean car!

He will never sell it for that price. He'll learn that and either come to reality (lower the price), or keep it. It is a very clean car, and may be worth it to him. But not to anyone else. My own 5th gen is worth $12k to me, but I know i'd be lucky to get $8K for it. Even then it'd take the right person to buy it. He'll figure it out.
