My hood seems to sit a little high when I close it. I don't know if the car has been in an accident or not since im the 2nd owner. I tried to move the latch assembly as low as I can....but that still didn't work. Any ideas on how to make the hood sit lower when I close it? The gap from the hood and the grill is noticable. TIA

how "big" is the gap? you might wanna try to adjust the rubber stoppers by the headlights by turning them, maybe that might help along with your latch adjustment...

 

Well....as a matter of fact..i even took out the rubber stoppers...still no difference. When i close the hood, I can press down on the hood and then it will be at the normal height. When i let go, it goes back up. So i dunno. Any other ideas?

 

just get some hood pins.. i have the same problem and i think thats what im gonna do

 

..i really dont wanna get hood pins. aHh...someone out there has to know how to fix it. Anyone? TIA
