Default ITR Alarm Question (Sound/Security Down?)

I have a viper alarm and I want to add the remote that tells me when my alarm is set off.... is it possible to buy the "keyfob" and program it to the alarm system?

I know many of you have this because you all have ITRs. I want to upgrade my alarm too in fear of fuggen thieves.

BTW for some reason the alarm forum wont let me post... if a moderator can move it that is fine.

It depends on what model you have - speak to your local Viper dealer as I know they have a UHF model that is good for 1km.

Or if you have a few dollars to spare get a satellite tracking system.

I have the Viper 790VX with a pager that has an animation of the car and shows you what has been violated. I added internal lasers (for when the windows are down), a perimeter sensor, kill swithes, something that calls my cell incase the pager is out of range, alarm battery back up, hood lock, and magnetic sensors under my emblems and if the mags separate the alarm is tiggered....i know nothing is 100% but I am trying to get as close as I can.....the 790VX is the newest Viper out there and works great...

Wow...that's getting a little ridiculous...

I wouldn't own the car if I was that scared of it getting stolen...but for the alarm.

Wouldn't it have been cheaper to purchase a beater and leave the ITR locked up in a secure garage somewhere?

Yea, instead of getting every frill you can for the alarm, get some layered security. Multiple kill switches, RS bezels, hood lock.... among others.
