well it tends to overheat as far as the engine. Im not sure dont quote me on this one less throttle response. Probably theres no blockage to keep the air in. Can anyone else confirm this?

yo man you have an air pocket in your cooling system probobly! you need to bleed the **** outta it. and also if you head gasket is bad it is possible you will blow white smoke or you oil will turn white or your coolant will turn white. check that also run your car and open radiator capp while cold running see if it is blowing bubbles in there that means exhaust gasses are going through your cooling system blown head gasket, YOu probobly got an air pocket in there though just keep bleeding it they do that if you have an air pocket peace
ps i am an ase certified mechanic in engine repair got any more questions dont hesitate to ask

Check the "fast idle" valve, I've seen many in these models "stick".
Simply remove the 2 philips screws + plate/cover...+ cover the small opening
with your finger or rag/object...., blocking air passage. If the idle smooths out/ surge
stops, this is the faulty part.
(It's located on the left side of the intake manifold/drivers side.)
(of course there several other poss causes: vaccum leaks etc...)
