How would my 89 Civic 4-door LX with 127hp 1.6 SOHC VTEC engine do against a 4th gen Si?

 

No one else has guessed... but I'd say that they'd be roughly equal. Your car weighs more but the Si has less power.

 

your lx trans has slightly taller gears then the Si yet shorter than the DX (I use this trans) You will beat an Si no problem- as long as your motor runs right and you dont have big azz rims. (assuming you are using Si injection).
