Does anyone know where to go to get your EF 8/9 TUNED to 10500 on the RPM meter; say like a specailist who can do it for you. I am sure this is possible with the right kind of tunning. Yes , I know you may think I am crazy but I am just wondering if anyone knows.

 

It depends on where your @. There are a bunch of good tunners in TX and CA....

I am not out to get flamed , i may have asked the question the wrong way.

 

Unless you have an F1 or IRL motor you won't find any that will go to 10K. The ECU won't allow it either. I do not think that a stock motor in our cars is capable of that RPM range. As for tuners with Dynos that can get your car set up-there are not a lot of them to begin with. We have 1 shop in our area that specializes in imports, for example. Good luck.

 

Take your car to an imprt tuner shop. Unlike the other guy, u dont live in pennsylvania so finding a tuner shop for imports is a peice of cake.Tjust tell them that you want to hit 10500 prm, they will set you up and take all your money for it

 

and a rx- 8 isnt bone stock able to go to 9500 on the RPM's if tuned right or can probably go higher.com
