well i did search and it was sorta a lot of mis information. Mostly post of uncertain specs of the car.

*the reason why is becasuse on of my old friends just traded his 00' accord V6 for the new 03' coupe v6 with 240hp to the crank. We are sorta co-workers but we've always had a compition with our cars. I have a 93 accord EX auto, but i know i would never race him with my family car(that's my excuse)

I finally met him after about 2 years and found out he got the 03' v6..so i'm sorta worried...... he's kinda like one of the people you like but are always in compitions with (scerately) ssshhh.

1) anyone know what runs in the 1/4? (stock trim)
2) curb weight?
3) torque?
4) tranny/ gearing spec? short gears like a ITR tranny or long *** gear like an LS?
5)--anyone wanna guesimate what it would dyno at?
*I'm thinking about 205whp, & what ever the tq is rated at since i don't know.


i wanna race him come next fall and re-thinking about going back to the turbo route on my ef.

 

I drove one when one of our guys got his 03 5spd... that thing is surprisingly quick... i was very impressed... clutch is super sensitive but it could have just been out of adjustment... i dont know for sure...

 

Mine is pretty quick, but mine is also a 6 speed. I've raced a couple of semi modified civics and some older v6 accords. Have yet to be beat. Good luck!

Well you will definitely have to do a lot of something to get a '93 to keep up with an '03 V6! I believe the autos run low-low 15's while the 6-speeds are deep into the 14's.

hahah read the bottom of my post.... I'm racing him with my B20 ef..... don't know if staying na with a onetime shot of 85 to the turbo route agian

 

According to MotorTrend, the manual V6 '03 Coupe does 0-60 in 6.2 and the 1/4 mi in 14.5 at 98mph. 0-100 is 16.5 seconds. Car & Driver tested an automatic (not sure if coupe or sedan) and got 0-60 in 7.0 and 1/4 mi in 15.5 at 92mph. 0-100 was 18.1 seconds.

14.5.... not that fast at all. I was afraid it was like a 13.9 car or somthing.....

A stock V6 6 speed ran a best at 14.7s in 1/4 mile last weekend at a local track.

 

I drove myt friend 's '03 coupe (auto) he let me race it, its fast... gear change's are quick they have some new technology on the trannys, stiff suspension its toped out at 132-135 MPH 1st Gear max speed 40MPH or about that 2nd 60 MPH 3rd 110 MPH 4th top out at 132MPH at 6,500-6,800 RPM's and 5th Gear did not kick in ( cuz it toped out ) if had chiped removed im sure it could go up to 145-155MPH

I got my 6 speed right up to 140 (kids, dont try this at home), there was no more power left. I wonder what it will perform like once it's not stock...

 

i saw one run at palmdale,bone stock 15.00

 

bone stock auto I raced from a nascar punch only was at my back doors from 50-110.

fast car... I had a 50 shot and an intake at the time to get me ahead.

 

i've only test driven them at my job and they have lots of torque down low. the 6-spd makes the car super fun. its not slouch, even though its quite heavy.

You may or may not have been going that fast since there is error in a speedometer, and with just an intake there have been v6 accords at around 220-225 whp! I believe somewhere I read that someone tested the v6 and had a low 14 second quarter, but can't remember where.
