Default VTEC-I swap question

This may sound like a silly question right now, but has anyone looked into the new VTEC-I engines that come with the new RSX and the soon to come (hopefully) Civic Si Hatch. I know this is still all new, but I would like to see one of these swapped into say...my 5G Civic Si. If anyone has heard anything about these engines in this regard please let me know.

the VTEC-I engine is soo very different the the d b h and f series honda engines. The VTEC-I engine rotates the other direction, like every other car in the world, while the d b h and f series are all backwards. Also the new VTEC-I engines have the intake manifold on the front with the exhaust on the back. Also the tranny is on the right side of the engine comparied to the left in the old school hondas.

ie you could get it to work if you put enough money into it...but why bother you could spend that extra money on a turbo kit and kill a vtec-i in horse power.

Yeah I read that the VTEC-I engine rotates opposite the older honda engines. I knew the shift linkage was positioned closer to the tranny (have you seen the way that looks on the 2002 Civic Si?), but I didn't realize that the tranny was on the other side. I know the likelihood of something like this happening would require lotsa loot and time and effort. I've already got my B18C5 picked out anyways. Its just one of those things I would like to see done!

Yeah, but try compensating for the positioning of the shift components out of the 2002 Civic Si. Check out the picture in the link.

It looks like it will be more fun to drive. The positioning of the stick was a great idea. I'm not to crazy about the exterior of the new si, but, wow, the interior sure is better than the usual generic honda interior. I hope these new i-vtec motors don't become pop. That sucks.

Yeah, I really don't like the new exterior style of the Civics. I prefer the look of the 5G Civics, especially the hatches. And I'm not just saying that because I own a 5G Si. I just prefer that style. But, I would love to get a hold of one of those 2002 Civic Si's. If nothing else, but to try that new position of the shifter!

I also own an eg, but do you think the new hatches look like a more modern eg. The rear of the car slightly resembles one, kinda

You know what, they kinda do. The 2002 rear bumper looks a lot fatter (not phatter). And it doesn't have that clam-shell opening hatch that I like so much. But, it does look pretty close, even the rear side windows look about the same.
