How many miles are on each, what kind of condition or aftermarket parts?

Finding an SI that wasn't raced is IMPOSSIBLE. I always assume that every car was beat on or neglected in some way. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best (helps avoid disappointment).

u know thats wut attracted me to the car i have now cause i know it wasnt beat on...its a dark green integ with beige interior...everything was stock when i got it...u could tell the owner took good care of it...its still pretty flawless so it was driven for 40k miles with no hard driving ....it was pretty flawless when i bought it though pait was perfect everything....but ive found a few si's that i could tell werent raced around here...prolly the ones that younger gurls had....

Why not just build the LS engine. Perhaps a LSVTEC,or a nice turbo setup? I guess it really depends on how much money you want to put into the project.

of course i would love ls turbo or ls vtec...but their so unreliable without a really good sum of money...i drive my car alot...daily driver and depend on it to go to work everyday...thats why im kinda scarred to do that...plus its a financed car...if it was paid off i prolly wouldnt mind goin ls vtec or sumthin....thats why...im thinkin of just trading to a car that was designed for vtec or turbo ect...ive always liked the si's i almost traded for this beautifull clean as hell red one super clean....but i was lame and turned it down...it was a bad deal though....but it would be weird to go from 1.8 to 1.6....pound for pound which one would be more worth building in a n/a form?

if you plan on going N/A, go with the b16 since it has vtec. that's an extra 20 hp over your ls engine. if you put some money into it, i'm sure the b16 will be much more satisfying in the end.

correct me if i am wrong (which i might be) but didnt the drag kits come with injectors???and also u dunt need engine management for turbo my freind ran a 12.8 on slicks with a stock *** gsr turbo setup and not even a vafc hack. just get a s afc and tune it for ur turbo n ull rip SI's all day imma probably gonna get ripped for this but most people i knew that had an SI either sold it because they were unhappy with the power or just got sick of seeing another blue one roll by revvin at them because the STUnnaS thought they were now fast. keep the ls boost the bitch
