Can anyone confirm that there was a 1991 Prelude SI VTEC with a H22A engine made stock? If so in what country was it available. This info was posted on the Prelude down under site and I was just wondering if the info is a mistake or a typo.

yes its true

but in australia, and japan, preludes were released a year earlier than in US, so the years are
1G prelude 78-81
2G prelude 82-86
3G prelude 87-90
4G prelude 91-95
5G prelude 96-01

that 91 was just a 4th gen VTEC prelude

they had the V-tecin the first 4th gen year... and like he said their first year was 91

becuz of the year earlier thing thats problee a reason why 96 ludes in the states are all OBDII ecu becuz arn't all 5th gens OBDII and 92-95 ludes are OBDI
