Default Is this a good price on parts and labor

My front bearing on the drivers side is shot. The shop quoted me 300 with parts and labor to replace it and have it machined. Is this something i could do myself? What tools would i need and how much work would it be?

are you talking about your axle/joint bearings or actual bearings in the motor?

just pull your front spindles/hub assemblies off and take it to a parts house with a machine shop, and have new wheel bearings pressed in, then re-assemble
