I want both so I can hook up my new custom exhaust like it should be done (no leaks and some flex). I'm not paying inlinefour.com $70 for a freaking gasket and flange. Thanks in advance.

 

local muffler shop will have it, thats where we get ours from, less than half the cost of I4.

or you can try JHP, i think they sell it.

get out the phone book. you'd be surprised how many muffler shops there are around your area that you don't know of. Call them and i'm sure atleast one of them will have it. good luck

 

70 bucks is way too much..do what Type R 599 said..

 

you can get it at aq local muffle shop , 2 1/2 is very common on american cars example : camaros so you shouldnt have a problem . Try different shops

 

Also maybe try contacting SMSP about it. For sure he'll get you whatever you need when it comes to exhausts.

S2000 one should do the trick, no?

You can get the gasket by ordering one for an S2000 from Honda.

 

My friend went to Meineke (sp) for it on his Toda Header.

 

Acura (from an early 90's Legend coupe) - 18229 SPO J51

When I got my JDM 4-1, I went to eight muffler shops. No one could fit it.

 

"JdmHondaParts" flange fits like crap with my s2000 dognut gasket on my JDM dc 4-1

It just so happens I live in the middle of nowhere. There is only 1 Walmart in a 45mi radius if that tells you anything. SMSP contacted me with a good price on both.

 

The flange is a 2.5 inch pipe with 4 3/4 inch bolt spacing, available at any local muffler shop.

I believe I read that a Honda S2000 gasket will work just fine. Is this true?

 

I just installed my exhaust system and the honda s2000 gasket was a perfect fit.

What exactly do you do with the 2.5" flange? weld it to your stock cat?

Dave does indeed have better pricing than the dealership, and has the flange as well. I edited my page to reflect this.

Can't go wrong with SMSP. Now as soon as I can convince him to start making Volvo downpipes...
