Default new to crx, need help

well my 90 integra has been declared a total loss and i am looking to purchace a crx. in my teg i have a b16a with some work done to it and i am looking to swap it into a crx. Im told that ideally i should get an 88 to 91 si to make the swap as easy as possible. Im also going for an (90-91 only i think) si because id like to have disk brakes. But if i am not able to get an si, does the HF wire up the same? and what kind of work am i looking at to swap my disk brakes from my integra onto the crx? I know a guy that runs a honda shop who says he will install the motor with mounts for 1000, that a good deal? thanks for your help.

Swapping out the rear disk from the Integra to the CRX is not that hard at all. They only thing you will need is the 90-91 CRX Si e-brake cables. Other than that it's a direct fit. The HF and Si model CRX's are what you should look for. They will work the same for wiring issues. I'd personnally go with a HF to save some weight and essentially make your car quicker. Plus you have the Teg disk brakes you can add to the car. 1000 is not too bad considering he's going to provide you with the mounts, but it really depens on your location. I'd expect it to be cheaper in Cali, but who knows.

I 2nd this, Brakes are simple and swap is not to hard. I would also go with the HF no sunroof, lighter car.

No to both - if they do, it's some aftermarket McGuyver set-up, which would actually be worse than not having them, because that would most likely lead to problems down the road.
