Nissin Brake Pads Stock on 00 SiR

Today I was taking my wheel off and to my surprise I noticed that my car has Nissin brake pads. Do all Honda's come stock with Nissin brake pads? Or just performance models? Are the Calipers Nissin also?

Nissin is just a very large brake manufacturer. It's not like all they make is Spoon calipers.

oh yeah! Mugen shocks are made by Showa and and and those things that my hatch go up are Showa! Honda hooks it up.

Im happy for you,,,my car came with nissin calipers and pads from the factory 'cose its a JDM EG4 and it wont hurt me to change them to other manufacturer brake pads 'cose they just perform the same if not worst to others...i guess that the only thing to be happy about is that you have nissin brake pads, like you said

Uh, Im pretty sure my EX has Nissin pads also, its not like they are the same as the AEM's, just OEM pads Nissin happens to make. You guys are such nerds.

nissin makes all stock honda pads

my calipers say nissin on them, the brake pads bought from the acura dealer said nissin on them...nothing special...in my opinion the stock integra pads suck...the only reason i got them was that i got both front and rear pads for $90
