I have a 94 JDM Si VTEC. The H22A engine has croaked so I'm looking to swap a reconditioned unit in. My Lude is a BB4 chassis model.
I have a good chance of getting a complete Type S engine (higher compression) but I don't know if its a straight swap or it its more involved than that? I see they are both H22A variants but the type S is BB6 chassis and 5th gen.
I'm not very technically minded so the work will be done by the local Honda place.
I guess what I'm asking guys is... is this an easy swap and are there any techy links that might be useful?
