i got a tip from a fellow h-t member (thanx bro!) for a really good deal on an almost new cf hood (the hood is only a month old). i asked the seller by phone what brand the hood was and he said aerogear. im actually checking it out tomorrow and hopefully it's what i expect it to be do you guys know if they are any good? ill use it mainly for street use to replace my beat up and dented oem hood. any info would be appreciated!!! TIA!!!

 

Get Fiber Images CF Hood, or Benon, they are the best. I Just hit a deer, and my front is screwed, my fiber images the hood is fine

I got an aerogear carbon hood, fits great, weave is perfect. i love it!

 

spend the money and get a VIS or Fiber Images hood,...you will be happier in the long run

If you really want a good one that can withstand going above 100 mph, i suggest you go for the VIS carbon fiber hood.

I heard alot and read alot of reviews of that hood compaired to others, fits very well and in place, think on teh clear coat over the carbon fiber and has that carbon fiber weight and looks also
