Default Jamex springs?? any good

Well my buddy gots some used Jamex springs sitting in his garage. Are these any good?

They're really old, I don't recall ever hearing anything bad about Jamex. I remember their seats were pretty comfy.

Didn't know it was pronounced Yam-ex, until recently

yah it was/is pronounced yam-ex. i use to have thier suspension stuff in my old accord.. good stuff.. company went under i think..

Yeah, real old, as in they went out of business back in early 1998 (or at least that's what THEY said when I called them up... and it did trip me out when they answered the phone and said "Hello, YAH-mex....."

All I had were the lowering spring for my CRX (back in my early years of not knowing anything about Hondas, before I upgraded to Skunkworks (when it was called that) coilovers and Tokico shocks), and all I can say is that they were very soft... too soft when racing as my car's rear end would dip badly when racing, but very soft on stock shocks on the road when driving.

Haha, me too. I called them up to inquire about their seats back in 96 or something, and they answered the phone like that, I thought wtf?
