Tomorrow I will get my new ITR. It is CW and stock (except 7*16 wheels). There are big stickers like you can see on this pic..
Those are not Ricer stickers, those are sponsoring stickers from Honda Germany. Doesn`t look toooooo bad imho but I like it clean.
well,
I will have to throw in my suspension and all performance parts, my JDM engine and whatever and at least remove the stickers... not to forget to give my own supporter a little bit space on the car.
I never removed stickers from such a big surface. How would you start doing that?
Any Tips ?
The wheels must go I think although the size is nice.. 7*16 is okay for an ITR. But those are not lightweight and not the prettiest... well, they will come with the car, so who cares if I continue running them for a while... Glad to climb in my own R again after crashing my precious #01858

Looks like a long job. If you do it yourself, try a blowdryer and goo gone. I don't know if you guys have that there but it works really good and does not hurt the paint.

Go to a detailing shop and have them do it - much less headache.

I have to agree. I thought this was another "how do I remove my TYPE-R stickers?" post.
Otherwise I can forsee quite a few hours spent scratching and digging all that stuff off.
Good luck Sven, so that's the replacement.

if you can't get to a detailing shop, use a hairdryer to warm up the sticker and it should peel right off. Then use Goo Gone (not sure if it's availabe in germany) to take off any left over adhesive.

Thanks....
Feels good to be back soon... This ITR is very clean and I`m glad I could save all my good parts from the wreck... So this CW will be as fast as the old one.. And a CW is pretty too... Too bad my cp035 are destroyed. I will have to wait regarding rims.. Maybe I will swap to stockies.. we`ll see.

Glad to see you got another R.
As for the stickers, I'd probably try to do it myself using a heat gun and a lot of patience, starting with the rear corner. I've had good results using a Jim Dunlop yellow tortex guitar pic to remove various stickers without damaging paint (use it to peel up an edge). They should be available at any music shoppe.
Good luck.

i'd pay to have them removed, if they've been on the car for any amount of time, they will leave glue residue behind and that's a PITA to remove.

I used to be sponsored by a graphics company... meaning I had graphics all over my old EK
It's not hard to take off at all. Just get a hair dryer, heat up the whole car really good, and then heat up the edges before you start peeling at them... but don't get it too hot.
To remove the residue, use citrus orange clean spray stuff. Works wonders. This is what a sign shop would use if they did it themselves. Good luck.

Okay,
I bought the car... it is VERY clean and the engine fine... not a puller but a brave guy (I can feel it wants to pull but it can`t (stock header, stock exhaust and all that sh*t)...
I found no dings in the hood or things like that. Only the windshield has a small ding so I could drop the price 950 Euros...A very fine, clean and shiny white ITR....
And the stickers..... call me a *****, but I looked at the car and I kinda liked them. They don not hurt performance
so I`m thinking of keeping them for a while... The car has a very agressive look... much more than you can see on the pic above. As I wrote, those stickers are nothing aftermarket stuff, they come from Honda Germany....... I don`t like to be a ricer
The ser no is very high-- 00-#05874

Sorry guys....I was too lazy to write it in Ingliz

edit: How much you payed for the catr?! Will you part out your wrecked one or will you sell the whole wreck.....or keep it for spare parts?
If/When your remove them, if they are vinal, they will simply peel right off. Just do it slow and durring cool temps. If it is to warm out when you do this, the stickey ISH will stay stuck to your paint. If it is colder outside, then it will lift right off. Also, do it when the car has just been washed, then when the stickers are off, wash it again. You should be fine after that. If there is anything else stuck on the car, you can rub it off with a Sham.

Du Moese!
Kidding!
Actually, it's kind of cool that they're factory support stickers. I'd be a tad embarrassed to drive on the street every day with them, but I'll bet it looks sweet on a track.

Sounds good... Now you have to give us some more pics of the car
- I want to see!
