Eagel Rods?
Just wondering if I'm going to do an LS/VTEC will the stock replacement Eagle H Beams work? I plan to mate the rod to USDM or JDM Integra Type R pistons or will the block have to be bored out? Someone please help!!
yeah but you have to shave the piston wider so that the piston fits onto the rod.
Eagle rod for B18A/B
JDM ITR Piston, mill 1mm off each side of the inside of the of the piston.

huh? i guess i'm just tired...but not understanding what your saying
why would a stock replacement LS Eagle rod not work with stock pistons without shaving the piston down? the skirt hits? i guess i never encountered it using aftermarket pistons and rods at the same time always

big shocker will be when he sees that the eagle rods takes a floating pin while the stock piston takes a press on pin - the basis of how the pin stays locked is thru the stock rod from being pressed on ... aftermarket pistons have locking pins.
