Default Timming belt changing?!

Ok it is getting closer and closer for it to be time to change the timing belt. I did a search after search and came up with nothing?? Has anyone does this maintance? I would like to do it myself. Now doing it myself would not be a problem casue i changed the timing belt on my buddies H22a Civic. But the motor was sitting on a pallet on the floor. How hard is it to change with the motor in the car? My buddie wants to pull the motor!!! I think that is just a little over kill!
Any links or help would be appreacheted!

Thanks
Ken

If you've done it on the floor on a H22A, then you already have an advantage of knowing what it takes. You can do it in the car, it will require dropping a motor mount, so you can get at everthing, but it can be done without removing the motor. Normal advice here is to have a helms of course.

It's not too difficult to do on the car. Don't bother pulling the engine. It's not really worth it. I don't know if the H22's shields are the same as on my H23 but putting back on the lower shield without the rubber seal falling off was the hardest part of the whole job. Yes it's a little tight but it's not that hard to get in there. Just make sure you have some long wrenches like over 8"es or so.
