I have the spoon lip. I drove from chicago to detroit and back this weekend, not a visible scratch on it.

I like it.

I paid 450 dollars for my spoon lip... I mean.. the copy lip is around 200-300, mindaswell spend an extra hundred and get the real thing

same deal goes w/ suspension.. your gonna end up spending like 5-600 on springs and shocks.. when you can dump a lil more and get something much better like Tein Flex coilovers

For a non-functional part like a spoon lip, I'd rather get a replica and save the extra money for other parts. You can't compare that to a suspension, that's like comparing apples and oranges. Unlike a body part which remains pretty much unfunctional, the suspension is a moving part and yes the extra money spent on the high end coilovers would pay off in the end.

All the replica's I've seen are really good and they are the same dimension as the spoon. I've seen some with better weaving. I dunno, a carbon fiber lip alone is just a bling factor period. To ride around town with a 450 lip, I'd be wanting to drive really really slow and careful. I can get replica ones for around $200 and I could care less if I scratched or banged it up. That $200 I saved could buy me my Greddy Boost Guage. Hell if I had the money, I'd buy a replica one to drive around town. Then I'd get a Spoon one just to say I had a Spoon CF Lip at the car show. We all know that'll get you laid really quick.
