So my 89 hatch has these black 2-ft thin metal pieces that sit under the rear triangle windows. They were black but now silver, so I removed them and painted them black. But I cant figure out how they go back on. Do they slide on like they came off, or do they push into place somehow? thanks

 

I have a feeling they just pop right on, because that is how most panels are in the G3, but if you said that it slides off then I would try to slide them back on.
