power steering ?

Default power steering ?

Has any one taken out there power steering in here? If so did u gain any power. was it difficult to drive without PS.

I've tried both on a 98 hatch and 97 hatch there isn't much difference in power. Getting rid of power steering is usually for people who want more control of the car and like to do autocrossing.

my buddy did it to his hatch.
not sure if he "gained" power...doubt it though...and even "if" he did, it was extremely minimal
u-turns or any turns at a stand still is a bitch...but you get use to it!
...it does give you better steering feed-back

i dd w/o p/s. parallel parking ownz my ***. other than that, i'm perfectly fine.

u-turns aren't a problem either.

Take off the belt and see if you like it. If its too hard for you put it back
on.

took mines off...You will save weight, car feels solid and the only problem I have is parallel parking but you get used to it... Plus if you have a lady, your lady wont like to drive it...hehehehe
