Wind noise with in car camcorders.
Has anyone been sucessful in making some kind of screen or filter that eliminates the wind noise and still allows you to hear the engine when filming yourself with the windows open? If so, share your secrets please.

a friend of mine did this, and put it in the trunk. Sounds great.

my camera has a feature that cuts wind noise considerably with a push of a button...jvc model dvmu90. I know there are a few other brands that have this although I'm not sure if you'd consider replacing your unit. Just a suggestion.

yup, my cannon does this... doesn't work perfectly, but comparing it to last months tapes, it is *much* better.
i might try the electrical tape thing too

I bet cloth tape would work well too. And might not muffle the sound as much.
