Default questions ???????

Ok, i have 03 rsx-s. I really dont know **** about this car yet so i need some questions answered.

What type of bulbs should i get for headlights?

Are skunk2 or GC's anygood? and should i buy shocks with them or are my stock ones ok for now?

Do they make a grill for the big opening between the foglights? the same material and design under the emblem....

Was it hard to install the CAI? I got an AEM in the trunk.

Any other suggestions/ideas... feel free... thanks

from what i have heard the skunk 2 will wear out the shocks in the quickness so u will need some new ones soon, the CAI from aem is the hardest to put on because you have to relocate some thing in the engine bay but still is a fairly easy install sorry i dont kno about the rest of your questions

bulbs are H1, grill craft (spelling?) should make grills but i think they are metal material instead of plastic, me and my friend installed an injen cai and it took like 2 1/2 hrs because we couldn't get the stupid washer tank mounted with the intake, it was pretty easy overall, we just took our time and had a couple of beers while doing it.

Save your money and buy the Tein basic damper, it should save you money on the shocks and springs. I have seen it for $750, but I am sure there is somewhere that has it for cheaper. The Skunk and Groundcontrols are good products, but if you figure you get the S/GC for about $300 or so. Then you buy shocks for another $300/$400 you are looking at about the same price for the Teins. I have also heard a lot of positive things about the Teins. I have heard too, that these (S/GC) coilovers make a weird noise after a while. Just a little fun fact.

One more thing!! If you are going to get bulbs for your car. You should go with an HID setup. It will last a lot long then Hyper White bulbs.

yes hid's are the key. true it's extra cash but for some reason the rsx give significantly higher power surges than any other honda that i can think of. your $40-50 bulbs will not last as long as you think. i got my hid's almost a year ago and it's the best $500 bux i've spent. if my next car doesn't come with hid's stock i'm sure as hell gonna get some for it. aem- sell it. it was a pain in the ***. get the injen cai.(easier) the grill - to each his own but if u do a search on clubrsx.com you'll find a company that makes grill's of high quality but not as expensive as gril craft.(i just can't remember the freakin' name) coilovers-EP is right get the teins or a full coilover system like jic. you'll end up paying almost as much in the long run if you get the shocks seperately(handling won't be too great either). sorry guys this post is so damn long. good luck

skunk2s/GC's aren't really that great for every day street driving. An adjustable spring coilover sleeve setup should really be installed with corner weighting for proper balacing otherwise you cancel out pretty much any benefits. As for the Tein basic damper, it is ok. The non teflon coated, non aluminum construction ensures you'll see a rusty strut through the life of your car. But for the price, i guess its ok. I would rather suggest a H&R cupt kit than getting the "low" tein. for everyday driving for most people, a designed spring/strut combo thats non adjustable is usually fine enough. for me? i want JIC FLT A2! haha

are you serious, of course they will last longer! $60 vs. like $1000. everything is relative. In this case everyone on this site should have just gotten Ferrari's and Lambos because they are faster.
