If you just hook up the Skunk 2 manifold and a Type R intake, will that add much power? I currently have a CAI and greddy evo catback. New plugs and wires. I don't really have a dyno close, so I couldn't tune it. Is it totally not worth it?
No it would not be worth it with the mods you have right now. You should wait and get some bigger cams if your going the n/a route. You would probably lose a little power at this point with your mods.

i using a GSR CAI with my Skunk2mani. it was cut for the bypass valve but then i took off the bypass valve cause they suck. so the rubber joint helps it fit nice. if its wasn't cut, i think it would be a very tight fit.

And are you guys losing secondaries w/ a skunk 2?</TD></TR></TABLE>
...That's what it does

I just had my Skunk2 intake manifold and AEM Type R 3" cold air installed yesterday. great mod, well worth the crap load of money. IT LOOKS SO NICE! i would definatly recommend the combo. I definatly gained horsepower, and the sound of the intake completly changed, its deeper, louder, and around 4400 it starts to scream loud, instead of around 5800. IT is an awesome mod, do them both together if you can.

I was also told that next thing i should do is convert to OBDI and chip the ECU, that would also help fix things, because there is no more secondary butterflies in the Intake manifold opening up. so things aren't perfect But i feel the power difference, its nice. there should be no knocking this Type R intake mod, considering a B18C1 is not a B18C5, we all know the engines are not the same internally, and also have different heads. so these dyno charts are not really relevent, considering we dont have B18C5 engines......
