What happened to the deal that was talked about before being offered up again? wasn't it suppose to happen in June? ~$45 for the 205/50-15 through discount tires

[edit] just curious... if everyone needs tires so bad, why doesn't one of you pick up the phone and try to make a deal with someone? It's not going to happen unless someone gets it started.

Yeah, blame all the posers that use them for street/showkaa tires only. Thats one of the reason for them being on back order.

or the more optimistic reason: discount tire just took up HUGE stock of azenis tires to gear up for the supposed June GB..

 

BTW, there's a guy in the classifieds selling a used set if someone needs them that bad.

 

I just bought a set of 205/50/15 Azenis about two weeks ago off of GroupBuyCenter.com. (link) Got them for $59 apiece plus shipping and arrived within a week. I paid about $16 each for shipping, but those of you on the West Coast may get a better deal on shipping/pick-up than I did since I was all the way on the other side of the country.

hahaha...do you guys hear yourselves? People can buy whatever the hell they want. Maybe they want the safety on the street that better tires afford.

Humm I should say this to other drivers who keep asking me why I change tires to Auto-X on my Azenis only. Hell I'm still using the set of 205/50s I bought in Dec 2001 at $52 a tire!! I can't wait to run against you guys in your worn down Azenis in the wet!!!
