Default California Smog/Air Restrictions

Well, I just found out that the Type-R being sold was originally bought in Florida, and has only been smogged, etc. over there. I live in California, so I'm worried about the restrictions here. The seller says that there should be no problem because all the Type-Rs are built the same way, but I'm not too sure. Would a non-cali Type-R pass the restrictions here?

Yeah, it will pass SMOG here, as long as the other owner hasn't modified it in some way so it won't, i.e. header, test pipe, etc..

I bought my 98 in Alabama, and it passed smog with no problems. It is stock though.

Ok, that is good to hear. For a moment there I thought I'd have to pass on the car because of those damn Cali restrictions. Heheh..
