its been done, but not as easy as throwing a typeR/b16 head onto an LS block etc

the k24 from the CRV doesnt like high revs, if i remember right its r/s ratio is terrible

im unfamiliar with the r/s ratio of the k24 in the TSX and if its different than the k24 in the CRV

so unless the bottom end is built up, it would probably be very unreliable if you tried to rev it out to 8k consistently

but then again this is all just my own theory, so take it with a grain of salt and ask in the RSX forum

i think i recall seeing the TSX and CRV/Accord both having 87mm bores, thus the strokes (and R/S ratio) should be the same? The RSX-S has a 86mm bore oddly enough.

Maybe you can check out the specs on the TSX head/internals and swap an RSX-S head on and set your redline similar to the TSX.

yeah 'they' did, and its true. Those motors do not last hundreds of thousands of miles like a factory d,b,f, or h series motor can.

i dunno, i think they can... mind you the people that do these swaps, are racing people... So they get beat on fairly well.

I know a few people with 50k+ miles ls/vtec crvtec setups with no problems

Thats kind of a general statement to make.

In the end, i think it comes down to how it was built/maintained/driven

and it is easy to do the swap you just have to reprogram the computer for i vtec on both cams

No, because they don't have the same power output. TSX has higher compression.
