hi guys. i posted this in the RSX forum but got no replies so i thought i would try here.

anyway......just a quick question for those who may know the answer to this. i was really interested in getting a pair or RSX cloth front seats to put into my 4 door integra.

i posted up a few WTB classified ads on a few message boards and one person commented that the RSX seat is to wide to fit the G3 integra. it will come in contact with the center console or something like that?

can anyone here verify if that is true? does anyone know someone who sucsessfully installed a pair of these seats into a G3?

again this is a 4 door integra so it may be a "little" wider than the coupe?

the rsx seats will not bolt up to the integra chassis without modification, i wouldn't try to drill in new holes in the chassis either, best bet would be to modify the bracket some how.

the ep3 seats have the same bolt pattern as the rsx seats too. i do not have any experiec with rsx seats and the fitting in the cabin, however the ep3 seats are way to bulky for the integra imo, they sit too high(might be able to fix it with custom brackets) and are too wide, they will barely clear the door when shut....it's a hassle, you should just save up for a recaro

i believe a user who goes by "migs" has installed either rsx or s2000 seats, i forget though

how about taking the brakets from the integra seats and some how put them onto the RSX seats?

 

you could probably get a JDM center console (ie, just an ebrake, no box to hold things) and go to a shop and have them custom fab mounts.

go to your local Acura dealer and measure them.

yeah i thought about that, but its a lot of custom work, you cant just swap it....i wish it were that easy.

 

umm isnt the s2k and ep3 and rsx basicly the same seats... .. well my s2k seats dont sit high at all for 1.. 2 it clears everything.. and 3 only 1 leg of the seat needs to be custom.. and its not very hard.. all you have to do is drill out the solid stud on the outside rear brackets and replace them with an integra or civic bolt it up and your all set... also im talking from a person who has a 98 integ that is..

what if you bought universal aftermarket seat brakets for the integra and bolt them onto the RSX seats? might work?
