0-******* kay. I was painting my grill and wasnt ****** working which means I had to work harder to make it look good...too make a long story short. I hafta go to work in 10 minutes... im pissed off. Anyway I was taking my grill nicely painted inside and I tripped on my moms ******* shoes and dropped the frickin grill on the mat. NOw after all that work its fricken indented with carpet marks. Tommorow is it possible to sand the ******* thing off and re-primer it and the paint the godamn thing again?
Thanks
Thanks
Ofcourse, just sand it again, you wont tell the difference. I bet it was a classic scene though hehe. Happens to the best of us, no matter how hard we try.
Damn that sucks! Best bet is to sand it down and start over. Maybe save it for a day when you have more time, I know whenever I would rush on a car project, it wouldn't come out as good
Same thing happened when i was painting a model car of mine. Picked it up n was gonna move it to a safe place... stumble on my old stock header
and dropped the car in a barrel of rice (LOL). I just stood there n could not ******* believe it just happened.

use SEM bumper stripper which is safe on plastics (just as long as you don't leave it on for hours). This is found at most paint auto supply shops. you can wipe and wash it off & then start all over. sanding would probably be difficult since the paint underneath MAY be wet still.

Why the hell did you have a barrel of rice next to where you were working....and open???

lol i was painting in my garage and my mom keeps all the rice in like a huge plastic barrel and she left the lid off about an hour before, when she got rice. I guess it was an unlucky sequence
BTW the garage door was open and i wasnt actually painting INSIDE the garage, it was like kinda outside but i walked in to put the car in the garage, on top of the dryer. Kinda ironic because it was a hotwheels integra that used to have riced out graphics on it...in the end it got covered in rice
