Default Is this Mugen wing genuine? 56K run away

I have seen Mugen wings on many occasions, but I would like a "second opinion" if this one is genuine. Don't mind the color, it is primer.

LOL!

That must be Ross' car, seeing as how no one else with a Mugen wing lets it get that dirty.

Did Mugen ever make a wing that didn't have the emblems on the sides? Are there any other features that suggest this wing is or isn't genuine?

There was never one made without the logo.

The center section should be made of aluminium.

Jim - there is a local guy selling his PY Mugen wing, if you want to look into it.

ahhhhhhh fake fake fake!!!!! get rid of it now!!!!!!!
1) no mugen logo on the supports
2) the plank/wing of it should be aluminum and not so dipped down in the middle like that, it should very well represent an airplane wing design but upside down
3) the side brackets should be aluminum also and not mated with the wing like that
4) also, there should be a metal rectangular bracket on the underside of the post in the notched area because there are these mini c-clamps thing that clamp on to that bracket and to the trunk lid

BAHHHHHH.....FAKE FAKE FAKE!!!!

Hehe...I should take pics of my car and give you both a run for your money. My car hasn't been washed in 10 months. Unless you count rain as a wash.

What are these "metal rectangular bracket[s] on the underside of the post" and "mini c-clamps" you speak of? Do you have any images of 'em? Can anybody else verify them or state their purpose?

I'm just curious as the their existance because it seems to me the Mugen uprights mimic the footprint of the OEM spoiler to a certain extent with teh same "cutout" area: had no idea they served an actual purpose.

EDIT: Yeah, the wing is a fake...

Leave it to me to look past the obvious (like the logo) and look for the smaller differences like how the Mounts on the side are part of the center section and that the 3 holes for different positions are spaced too far apart, as a real one has 2 of the wholes almost overlapping

I think I pretty much looked past the most obvious and went into detail on the less obvious.
