How to distinguish GSR OBDI ECU from OBDII ECU?

How to distinguish GSR OBDI ECU from OBDII ECU?

Just by looking at it, i would guess the way the harness looks like..? Are there any other sure-fire ways?

the plugs are differant...l and i dont know what the #'s were exactly... but i think the obd1 gsr ecu's had a "p72" somewhere in the #
