5th gen 'eg' hatchback what size muffler

I'm welding a new muffler on a 5th gen hatchback, and am wondering what size muffler to buy. (I am just buying a quiet, cheap 2.25" oval muffler)

I am thinking a 4"x9" muffler, is this the correct size? Should I get it 14" or 18" long?

Will it line up better with an offset at one end?

Get a 14" straight through or duel tip muffler. Like an ES oval. Great sound and performance.
