I'm looking into the JDM conversion, the all metal one with HIDs. Was just curious if I should expect the same fitment problem as with other kits. I'm hoping no because it is metal. So anybody got any names or recomendations?

 

The all metal ones are OEM Honda so it should fit perfectly assuming the bodyshop installs it correctly. Only the replicas come in non-OEM metal as far as I know.

 

not from experience but from reading on this board, ABS and HID don't fit together? I'll let someone else verify or nullify this statement.

 

you can buy the non-hid head lights and buy aftermarket hid kits...!

 

just got my JDM front end installed..all metal.. had no problems whatsoever....but fiberglass version is another story

if you have a newer integra like say...98-01 the abs unit is different so there is room for the hid ballast to clear the abs unit . there is also a guy on here that installed the oem hid headlights on like a 95ish integra and he just moved back the abs unit . i forgot his username , hes from canada . blue integra , w/ like 17 or 18in sub zeros . he has pis of it on a few threads .

 

the best JDM "kit" made is from Honda Japan. Youre talking about a JDM conversion so youre basically making your car like a Japanese DC2.

BTW, you neglected to clarify what "other" kits youre comparing to.

 

if your going jdm, do it right and get the real Honda parts. perfect fitment. real jdm. anything else
oh and if u know how to weld, you can install youself. i did. it came out perfect, if u know what your doing.

 

I'd go OEM HID over aftermarket HID anyday. Get the OEM HID, not a retrofit kit, there is a big difference.

mugen front ends are kind of played out tho...but i would still get it
