Is the itr sway bar w/ bsq just as stiff as a the comptech combo bar? or is there a drastic difference (because there is in price
)
Im leaning towards the itr sway w/ bsq but im not a fan of making alterations on my car. On the other hand the comptech combo is direct bolt on. advise me

I just did an archived search
sorry

Go with the itr rear sway bar and bsq kit. It will perform the same as the comptech sway/tie combo for less than 1/3 it's price. However I got a pretty good deal on the comptech kit from a member here and decided to go with that. Painted the tie bar black to reduce the bling factor.
I did a $$$ comparsion of this a while back (sorry I searched and couln't find the exact thread).
Basically you could buy the Beaks or BSQ kit, ITR swaybar and a Benen lower tiebar and still have <u>plenty</u> of
money left over compared to the Comptech bar.
About the only functional difference that I was able to come up between the ITR sway bar compared to the Comptech was the adjustable endlinks on the Comptech piece.
For me, I went with the Beaks kit, ITR swaybar and lower tie bar (tie bar not installed yet).
I recommend the Beaks kit. Wil is a good guy (www.beaksproducts.com)

Doh! Now I feel bad because I just received my comptech sway/tie bar combo. Quick - someone comfort me and tell me that I did good.

wtf are you talking about?
I cant imagine those 2 bars along with hardware weighing anywhere near 14.5lbs...
http://solar.innercite.com/comptech/140100r.html discontinued? I just called them.. they are still making them.

comptech!! if your tight on money, I would just go with the BSQ kit and itr sway bar. It does the same job. The only reason I got the comptech combo is because I got a good deal on it from a member on here and because it is a direct bolton.

yes, it is 14.5lb. the newer 24mm bar is steel. it shows on my UPS shipping box. yes they did discontinued red combo bar. they do still have some silver colors left.
don't make me go over to my garage & take a pix of the ups box.

The JDM 23mm Type-R rear swaybar fits the same as the USDM 22mm swaybar. Go to http://www.geocities.com/bretq....html to see how.
You can get the 22mm swaybar from http://www.acuraautomoviteparts.org for $64.
