Default Rev-limiter

I have a 94 Prelude Vtec and it redlines at 7.5 but the rev-limiter goes off at 6.75. Does anyone know how to fix this?(push the rev-limiter up to redline or a little after)
Thanks

I think its b/c you are low on oil... it happened to my friends lude... that or a fuel pump ? (pump is just a guess)

can you give it more and it eventually goes over the 6.75?
