Default Spring/Strut install: Torquing bolts to a certain level?

For this setup (detailed at http://www.team-integra.net/se...D=494)

Should I use a torque wrench to make sure they're torqued to a certain spec?

Yes, use a torque wrench to make sure all the bolts are torqued to spec. Suspension is a very important part of your car and you do not want any bolts to come undone.

EDIT: Just play it safe and use a torque wrench

I did mine about 2 months ago and I didn't torque them to any specs but I had an air gun and ratchet. They ain't coming loose.

a Helms and a Torque Wrench go hand in hand when working on your car.

Get them both and do it right the first time.

I can't remember off the top of my head. but its either 35 or 45 ft lbs. All the bolts are the same. Pretty much. I think one may be different.

Off the top of my head...

strut top nuts (14mm deep, better with 1.5"+ extension) = 36 lb*ft
front upper shock fork bolts (14mm) = 32 lb*ft
front lower shock fork bols (17mm) = 47 lb*ft
rear lower control arm bolts (14mm) = 40 lb*ft
rear swaybar bolts (14mm) = 29 lb*ft

Real mechanics don't need torque wrenches.
