B16A2 in 88 Civic question

What kind of work needs to be done so a 88 Civic with a 99-Spec B16A to have power steering.

dont do it, seriously, you cant even imagine the work involved to get power steering into an EF hatch, and you dont even need power steering in an EF hatch, hence why they didnt come with it
