Just recently my car has been acting weird.
It idles at 400rpm's, & tends to shut off. How do i go about adjusting it to idle around 800rpm's.

DO NOT ADJUST IDLE BY TURNING THE BIG SCREW! That leads to other problems, like erratic idle and fuel cut. Open up the throttle plate and make sure it is clean first. Use a solvent spray suitable for cleaning throttle bodies (make sure it won't melt plastic) and an old toothbrush. Scrub that sucker clean. Next, check ignition timing. If that's ok, check the throttle postion sensor voltage at idle. It should be around 4.6 volts. Also check for any vacume leaks. Use a vacume gauge. A healthy engine at sealevel should pull about 20-21" of mercury. Subtract an inch for every thousand feet above sea level. That should get you pointed in the right direction. Dont forget to check 'The Idle air control system, laters-fastman

Well i fixed my problem.
i replaced my valve cover ring gaskets & spark plugs.
seems my plug tubes were full of oil. i used a turkey baster to suck all the oil out before changing them, now its fine.
