for that cash you should be able to get a decent head already done plus save a lot too for some other mod (tranny maybe?)

its for everything... taking off the head and port and polish and replacing the valves i bent and puttin the head back on is 1000$ which is a decent price i feel. then the price of the parts, i want to rebuild the head with aftermarket parts... crower cams, valves, retainers, springs,..etc. for 1400-1500 which is where i came up with 2500. seein that crower cams are 750, dual spring and retainers are 430 , valves are 260 for 16, gears are 100. thats 1500 right there so thats how i came up with 2500... any comments suggestions?

its gettin done by vinny ten from performance factory or vinny ten racing. he has an 8 sec supra

It seems a bit high for me I spent cash around $1200 for the same setup. Labor is the factor, how well do U know the shop doing the work. A good machine shop gets a lot of their stuff at low low cost. Good luck

1000 dollars for labor is a little to much...I got a head done for 250...that included 3 angle vavle job.installing the springs, retainers, valves, valve seals and race shaving the head...He even put the cams on and set the timing....

You can get all that done with a JG Pro series head for about $1500...

$1000 for labor is high. In Orange County CA., I was charged $600 to remove and replace whole motor from my car. $1000 to R/R a head is a bit pricey. The price on the head package seems right though, I paid $1200 for a P/P, SI S/S valves, Ti retainers, and springs, no cams stock.
