Default Is Bigger Always Better?

Ive been thinking a lot about camshafts and I keep asking myself, Is bigger always better? And Is It Always gonna give you the most amount of power?

With ITB's, 2.1L of Displacement, Excellent Headwork And 13:1 CR Ratio Would Cams With 13+ mm of lift Make more power all around then Say A Cam with 12.7-12.9mm Lift. Would It Do Well In the entire rpm range or just up top or is it possible for the Smaller cam to out perform the larger cam in the entire powerband giving a smoother torque range and HP.

Any Opinions? And Or What other Factors Should You Consider.

The bigger/ more aggressive you go, the more stressed the valves/ springs/ cams. There's material limitations to consider, too...

simply, yes. you might sacrifice more low-mid range. but you would get more power. i think the JUN stage IV are 13 mm. pretty crazy stuff.
