good effort by DZ racing
well done to DZ racing at the 12 hour this weekend! never seen people work so hard. Some great driving by Cobetto and crew as well. you guys were pacing the 993 late in the race.
as for us we were out early with engine problems. I then entered a 12 hour drinking enduro.... Results pending.....

Ryan, O were the laidies out on friday at the shoe.
Our car # 33 SRX-7 was all good so our crew went out for a while.
All in all a great weekend. That hatch really screamed outa turn 10 chassing that 993.
Sorry i dident know more HT's were there. Would have been nice to meet up. Our paddack arrangement was great, we were the ones with the enclosed trailer perpendicular to the track with the timing and other stuff on top.
So who was everone there with, i know DZ racing was with the hatch or the teg, and Ryan wiith the teg i was crew and fuel man for #33 the john deer lokng rx-7
anyone else??

I had a blast chasing that 993, we could close up through turn 4-7 and then that awsome Porshe power would just walk away. At night I put it up next to him on the inside of 6 and he almost took my nose off...then I put it on the outside of 6b and got the same response, next lap he pointed me by! I thought ****!! yeah baby smoked that 993.....turn 8 damn he pitted.
Just wanted to say thanks to TEAM DZ. This was the first time I had raced a FWD and I was a little concerned going in that I wasn't going to be able to get the tail to step out enough to make me feel at home
but holy crap was that car fun. Suspension still needs the typical new car tweeks to get sorted but once that is done I think the car will turn easy 1:26s at SP.
Larry is probably one of the nicest guys I have ever met. I expected him to ask me what my thoughts for the race were but instead the first question out of his mouth was..."so you were at a party with Shaq, huh?" The guy had a brand new car that he was turning over to Me, Tony Zelones and Payton Wilson for a 12 hour pounding and this is the first thing on his mind. I knew right then that we would finish the race. Only a truly confident man would be able to think of other things beside the car.
Ryan just plain worked his *** off and after watching him work I'm quite sure that he could change brake pads and end up looking like he just rolled around in a vat of axle grease. I think "pigpen" might be an appropriate name from now on. Thanks for the great effort.
Rob diagnosed the few problems we had very quickly and kept the car running. He was always happy to oblige a change if a driver asked for it.
If they'll have me back I'd love to run a HONDA again. ( This time I'll bring the extra alternator belt"
Peace,
Chris
