Hey guys my buddy had a cdm 2000 civic sir (coupe), He recently wrote it off, now what he is wondering is if he could just switch his engine in to a 2000 hatchback non-vtec 1.5. Is this simply just plug and play or would he have to buy any new parts to make this swap work?Also is there any where this info is shown step by step. Thanks.
P.S. I have already used the search function and havent found much.

 

direct swap, same wiring(if the hatch has VTEC harness), same mounts, same linkage

this is a martha stuart swap, shouldnt take anymore than a day, even if you had to run VTEC wires......let us know if you need any help
