b20z oil pump question

On the old honda hybrid site they said the b20z used the same oil pump as a gsr. Is this true? If it is then shouldn't you be able to use a gsr timing belt?

yes this is true,just make sure if you use a vtec oil pump use a vtec timing belt and vice versa.I don't think the b16 will work.

the oil pump does not affect whcih timing belt you use, i think you mean water pump.

but the b20 oil is the same as gsr, and if you use a vtec water pump use a vtec timing belt, and if you use a non-vtec water pump use a non vtec timing belt.
