Does any one know if there is a brake switch on the rear brakes (foot brake) on a 98 cbr 600 f3, so that when you push it down the brake lights come on? I know the hand brakes activate the brake light but wasn't sure if the foot did also...

 

i always use both brakes at same time so front brake would turn brake light on anyway, i dont care that my rear brake light doesnt really work on its own

 

light comes on with the rear brake on my F2 so i would assume its the same with yours. Cant help you out with a "switch" though.

 

Both brakes when pushed (independantly and in conjunction) will activate the brake light.

yes there is a switch, it is right behind the rear brake lever. It has a small spring that comes off of the bottom of switch and it has two wires off of the top of it.
